College basketball conference tournaments have been canceled right before they were scheduled to tip off over fears of the outbreak of coronavirus.
The American Athletic Conference (AAC), Southeastern Conference (SEC) and Big Ten Conference were the first to cancel their tournaments.
The dominoes fell and other conferences followed.
Here is the list of conferences to cancel their tournaments:

- Atlantic-10
- Conference USA
- Mid-American Conference (MAC)
- Western Athletic Conference (WAC)
- Colonial Athletic Association (CAA)
- Sun Belt Conference
- Big Sky Conference
- Southland Conference
- Big West Conference
- America East Conference
- Big East
- Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC)
The Ivy League was the first conference to cancel their tournament on March 10.
In lieu of the tournament, Florida State has been awarded the ACC tournament trophy if games are eventually played.
SEC regular season champion Kentucky has also been announced as the SEC champion.
Only the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) have yet to announce canceling their conference tournaments.
Originally, March Madness was to be held without fans, but it’s now fair to wonder if the NCAA Tournament will be postponed or completely canceled in the near future.
*The Big East Conference was originally the only conference tournament that started playing today, but they ultimately canceled at halftime of the first game.
