According to Phil Handy, the Los Angeles Lakers’ assistant coach, LeBron James was eager to guard Kawhi Leonard before the game on Sunday. Per LZ Granderson of the Los Angeles Times:

“Last night I texted LeBron and asked him who he wanted to guard and he texted back, ‘I’m guarding Kawhi [Leonard].’”
