In his latest interview, Lakers’ legend Shaquille O’Neal spoke about sportsman’s life, life after sport and how he started investing.
“75 percent of all athletes go broke two years after they’re playing…I went back, got my master’s in business, and my doctorate. Watched guys like Magic [Johnson] and [Michael] Jordan, and I’ve watched them very, very close. People said, ‘You gotta invest, you gotta know what you’re investing in,” Shaq said.
“I got into Google by accident,” he said. “It was presented to me, I knew it was gonna hit. My only regret is that I wish I would have bought more.”
