In a shock move, Barcelona have officially announced the signing of Croatian international center Ante Tomic, who played for Real Madrid over the past few seasons.

The 1987 born center was one of Messina’s choices when he joined the club in the summer of 2009, but he never really glued with the club.

After the release of Kosta Perovic some days ago, Barcelona approached the player and got his signature on a three years deal.

The Catalan club has the option for an additional year.

The Liga Endesa champions are also looking to renew the contract of veteran Fran Vazquez while it is almost certain they will let Boniface Ndong go.
