Caja Laboral could lose its leader and top scorer Mirza Teletovic who is seriously interested in joining a team in the NBA.

Misko Raznatovic, the player’s agent signed an agreement with his current club on a buy-out which would let him move across the pond.

Teletovic is contracted to Caja Laboral for two morea years but he would be allowed to leave if the buy-out is paid. It is reported that the interested party would have to pay around €2.2 million to break Teletovic’s contract.

Several NBA teams are showing interest in the player with Brooklyn Nets among the ones who want Teletovic the most. The Nets are reportedly also considering the additions of Andrei Kirilenko and Bojan Bogdanovic.

If the move to the NBA does not happen, there will be plenty of clubs in Europe who would like to add Teletovic to their rosters. The fact that Caja Laboral had its worst Euroleague season as they were knocked out after the group stage could be an additional motivation for the player to move on.

Despite his team’s poor performance, Teletovic was the star with 21.7 points and 6 rebounds per game. He made 43.6% of his 2-point shots and 43.1% of his three-pointers.
