The Minnesota Timberwolves had lost 11 in a row before facing the Sacramento Kings, who had lost 8 of 11 on Monday night. Buddy Hield assisted the Kings to a big early lead, with De’Aaron Fox taking over in the second half. Fox finished with 31 points and five assists, with Bogdanovic (23 points) and Hield (16 points) contributing to the 113-109 win.

Karl-Anthony Towns was once again the top performer for the Wolves, recording a double-double (22 points, 10 rebounds plus six assists). Minnesota managed to cut down the deficit, but Andrew Wiggins missed a 3-pointer that would have sent the game to overtime, with 0.5″ on the clock.
