As TalkBasket already reported, Lietuvos Rytas decided to withdraw from the Lithuanian cup. The question is who will replace them.
As it was made known, one of the teams that will lose in quarters and fail to qualify for the Final Four will replace Rytas. More precisely the two teams that will lose in the quarterfinals will play a single match on neutral ground, with the winning team clinching a spot in the Final Four.
The determining match will take place in Panevezys. So far Kedainiai has beaten Siauliai on the road by 12 and Pieno Zvaigzdes by 2 against Rudupis also on the road.
