Washington Wizards star Isaac Bonga about living in Washington D.C. and more ahead of the team’s Primetime game against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.

Q: Have you settled into D.C. now?

IB: “Yes, I have. Obviously, a beautiful city. Close to Capital One Arena and the practice facility. Close to the waterfront area. Found a lot of good restaurants.”

Q: Any surprises about the city?

IB: “How international it is. I’m coming from an also pretty international city — Frankfurt in Germany — and I’m like a pretty good food guy, so if I’m somewhere I go see what the city has and what the city is known for.”

Q: Did you make any new year’s resolutions?

IB: “Just be happy to be honest. Get better as a basketball player and a human.”

Q: Your thoughts as the halfway point of the season approaches?

IB: “It goes quick. We’re almost at the All-Star break. Everything is going quick. So far, it has been a really good experience for me — learning experience. Expectations for me is to just get better and win as much as possible; and work on my body.”
