Obradoiro is in desperate need of 1 million euros in order to pay employees and other running costs as reports tubasket.com
Obradoiro employees have not been paid last month and the club is still 1 million euros indebted. The budget for the season is 3.5 million euros, only 2.5 of which have been covered by tickets, sponsors and Chairman Raul Lopez himself.
“It would be easy for me to leave, but I have made a commitment. If anyone can help, he’s welcome” commented Lopez.
Obradoiro is currently at the bottom of the Liga Endesa with a 4-11 record, tied with Valladolid and Murcia.
