The Washington Wizzards announced through their Twitter account that Ronny Turiaf suffered a broken left hand on Sundays loss to the Celtics.
It is the same injury that kept Turiaf out of the French NT last summer and it is expected to keep him out for about 5-6 weeks.
The 28-year old has been averaging 1.5 points and 3 rebounds so far this season.
