Dirk Nowitzki has wide opened the door for his participation in Eurobasket 2011 with Germny NT.
In an interview to Der Spiegel Nowitzki admitted that he wants to play in Eurobasket citing the opportunity to qualify for London 2012 Olympics as the main reason.
But he would only play under some conditions: “Assuming that I will be healthy. I have been carrying a flue for the past four weeks and playing at 50% wouldn’t make any sense” said Nowitzki.
The German star also ruled out any chances of returning to Germany on a club level due to the lockout and expressed his certainty that everything will be resolved and he will play at the highest level for Dallas Mavericks for another three or four years before retiring.
