After spending almost two years in Spain with Unicaja Malaga Greek forward Giorgos Printezis returns to his previous club Olympiacos. The 26-year-old power forward saw limited time in Malaga and was looking for a way out.
Olympiacos was the first professional team for Printezis. The arrival of Greek international will give more options inside the paint for Dusko Ivkovic ahead of Greek playoffs since Australian Matthew Nielsen has been removed from Olypiacos’ A1 roster.
Giorgos Printezis averaged 5.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game during almost 16 minutes of play in Euroleague this season. That’s a significant drop compared to 11.7 points per game last season.
