The Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says it’s ‘really helpful’ Warriors guard D’Angelo Russell played for coach Luke Walton:

“It’s really helpful for D’Angelo to have played for Luke because a lot of the stuff that we do in practice is very similar. He said it felt like second nature to him to go through what we did today,” Kerr said.

This past season, Russell averaged 21.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game for the Brooklyn Nets.
