The now-Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter, who signed to a two-year, $10 million deal this summer, says his former Thunder teammate Russell Westbrook, who was traded to the Houston Rockets this offseason, was the best player he has ever played with:
“Russell Westbrook was the best player I’ve played with. … He’s not just the best player, the best teammate I’ve had off the court,” Kanter said.
This past season, Westbrook averaged 22.9 points, 10.7 assists and 11.1 rebounds per game.
