The analyst Kendrick Perkins thinks the Los Angeles Lakers should sign big man Dwight Howard, who still has a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, because the Lakers’ style of play resonate well with Howard:

“The Lakers need to sign Dwight Howard! Let’s not act like this man can’t play and produce at a high level! The Lakers also have a mature veteran team that can manage themselves and call him out on his BS!” Perkins said.

Howard missed most part of the 2018-19 season owing to injuries, averaging 12.8 points along with 9.2 rebounds per game. As a Laker, he averaged 17.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per contest in the 2012-13 season.
