There will be 13 players left trying to make it to the final squad of Lithuanian national team after head coach Ramunas Butautas named three players who were cut. Renaldas Seibutis, Mindaugas Katelynas and Giedrius Gustas are now free to prepare for the club season.
Lithuania will start the series of preparation games on August 12 in Kaunas as they will host Latvia. Ramunas Butautas hopes to be able to pick the final squad once the team returns from the tournaments in Spain and Greece.
