Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv has boosted its perimeter with the acquisition of veteran forward Quincy Acy for the coming Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season.

Acy (2.01 meters, 28 years old) has spent most of his seven-year pro career in the NBA, appearing in 10 games last season with Phoenix. His most productive season overall was 5.9 points, 4.4. rebounds and 1.0 assist per game in 2014-15 with New York.

His highest scoring average, 6.9 points, came with Brooklyn in 2016-17 over 32 games. He has also played for Toronto, Sacramento and Dallas. All told, he has 337 NBA games under his belt, with career averages of 4.9 points and 3.5 rebounds. Prior to turning pro, Acy played four seasons at Baylor University.

“Quincy Acy is a very experienced and high quality player from the NBA”, Maccabi head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos said after the deal.
