In an NBA Draft with not so much European interest, Kevin Seraphin of Cholet was drafted at #17 by the Chicago Bulls and was the only European to get drafted in the first round.
Tibor Pleiss of Brose Baskets was picked by the New Jersey Nets at #31 and Nemanja Bjelica of Crvena Zvezda at #35 by the Wizards.
Miroslav Raduljica and Aleksey Shved were not picked, although it was rumoured that Los Angeles Lakers were interested in the Russian prospect.
