According to Brian T. Smith, the Houston Rockets are expected to aggressively pursue small forward Jimmy Butler in free agency. Sixers’ Butler declined his $19.8 million player option for next season to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Last season, the 29-year-old averaged 18.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 4.0 assists per game.
