According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Dallas Mavericks power forward Dwight Powell will decline his $10.2 million player option for next year to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
This season, Powell averaged 10.6 points, 1.5 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game, while shooting at 59.7 percent from the field.
