Paul George spoke on the key to getting the highest seed possible in the Western Conference ahead of this weekend’s NBA Sundays clash between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks.
On working together as a team…
“The important thing is to be even keeled with everyone. There’s no pressure on one particular person to get it done. We have to do it together as a group. We’re pretty good at keeping it tight and being in house. We get on guys, we get on each other, but it doesn’t need to be public.”
On the key to getting the highest seed possible…
“Playing with energy. Energy, fast pace and our defense has to really be solid and consistent. That’s us. Offensively, we’ll make plays. But defense has to be our identity. A team that’s going to come out, clamp down, lock you up and get out and run the wings.”
