The Los Angeles Lakers (20-14) beat the Golden State Warriors (23-12) on the road 127-101 (32-25, 33-25, 26-32, 36-19) and put an end to the two-game Warriors’ winning streak.

Despite LeBron James’ groin injury with 7:51 min left in the third quarter, the Lakers outshot the two-time defending champions at Oracle Arena. Before getting injured and leaving the game, James posted 17 points (6/9 from two, 0/2 from three) grabbed 13 boards, handed out 5 assists and tallied 1 steal in 21 minutes of action. Ivica Zubac finished with another solid performance – 18 points (on 9/10 shooting), 11 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists. The 21-year-old center in his 3 Lakers’ starts is averaging 17.7 points (on 25/32 shooting), 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks.

Kyle Kuzma was the top scorer for the Lakers with 19 points (on 6/14 shooting) and 6 boards, Rajon Rondo came off the bench to add 15 points, 5 boards and 10 assists. The Lakers ended their 11-game losing streak to the Warriors in Oakland. Last time they won back in 2012. JaVale McGee missed the game due to respiratory infection. Seven Lakers finished in double figures.

On the other hand, Andre Iguodala came off the bench to lead the Warriors with a season-high 23 points, while shooting 9-of-12 from the field, including 3-of-5 from three. In addition, he grabbed 5 boards and made 4 assists in 27 minutes of action. Kevin Durant poured in 21 points (on 5/13 shooting), 7 rebounds and 7 assists, Stephen Curry added 15 points (on 5/17 shooting) with 5 assists, Kevon Looney contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds. The Warriors made just 9 3-pointers on 36 attempts (25 percent).
