The New Orleans Pelicans (3-0) beat the Los Angeles Clippers (2-2) at home (116-109).

After the half-time the Pelicans had a 3-point deficit (59-62), but in the third quarter the hosts seized control with a 21-4 run and never looked back.

For the winners, Anthony Davis led the way with 34 points, while shooting at 52.4 percent from the field. He also grabbed 13 rebounds, made 5 blocks and 1 steal. Elfrid Payton (6 assists) and Nicola Mirotic (12 boards) added 20 and 18 points, respectively.

On the other hand, Tobias Harris managed 26 points with 9 rebounds. Danilo Gallinari poured 24 points and 6 boards.
