Valencia Basket reached an agreement with ukrainian player Serhiy Lishchuk (2'10, 1982) for the upcoming season. This addition makes even stonger the inside game of the team, with Perovic and Nielsen already on the roster. On the other hand, Ermal Kuqo will no longer play for Valencia, since both sides decided to finish the contract.
Lishchuk is a very powerfull center, drafted at the end of the second round of 2004 NBA Draft. He played last four season for Azovmash Mauripol, and is very well known in Valencia since he has played some games in the city because of Eurocop games.
Last year he averaged 10'9 ppg and 5'9 rpg. This summer he played for his national team to avoid relegation to Division B.
