Ioannis Bourousis of Olympiacos was given a compulsory leave of absence for the next month, by his coach.

Although the club’s official press release says that the player will be sidelined due to an injury and the player will be training all alone in a try to re-regulate his metabolism the rumours in Greece insist that the decision was taken solely on disciplinary grounds.

Apparently Ivkovic was disconcerted with Bourousis behaviour lately and chose this way to send the player and the rest of the squad a strong message, not taking into account even the fact that the team will be missing a key player in the crucial games against Fenerbahce and Panathinaikos (a game which will decide the first domestic trophy of the season).
