Khimki coach Georgios Bartzokas has been fined €4,500 for “showing a lack of respect” towards match officials following his side’s encounter against Olimpia Milano on March 8.

Milano won the game 86-77 in Moscow, with Bartzokas unhappy with the officiating during the match. And as a result, the Greek tactician has been fined by EuroLeague Basketball.

EuroLeague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 25 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.

  • Georgios Bartzokas, head coach of KHIMKI MOSCOW REGION has been sanctioned with a fine of 4,500 for showing lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its home game against AX ARMANI EXCHANGE OLIMPIA MILAN, under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
