Olympiacos crashed Mindaugas Kuzminskas’ debut for Milano and Crvena Zvezda ended the Zalgiris hot streak as week 16 concluded, Friday.

The Piraeus side got back into a tie for top spot with a 12-4 record, while Milan dropped to 4-12. Kostas Papanikolaou and rookie Kyle Wiltjer each had 15 points to lead Olympiacos with the latter being a career high.

Zalgiris were denied a sixth consecutive win, which would have been a club record, as they fell 77-65 to Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade.

Taylor Rochestie paced the winners with a double-double of 16 points and 10 assists. Rookie Dejan Davidovac had 13 for the Serbs.

Real Madrid broke clear in the second half to come away with a 93-81 win over a stubborn Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv side.

Veteran Felipe Reyes led the way for Real with 14 points.

EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce got a hard-fought 79-74 win over Baskonia in Istanbul.

The win, however, came at a price as Fenerbahce lost James Nunnally due to a bad fall after a dunk which sent him out of the game on a stretcher and Jan Vesely due to a suspected Achilles injury.

Khimki relied on Alexey Shved as they downed Brose Bamberg 74-70 in northern Germany.

Shved exploded for 28 points in the victory.
