It seems we are having a most probable candidate to organize the Final Four 2011 after Torino dropped it. Two days ago it was London that was being presented as the most probable host. Now it seems London won’t be hosting the event before 2015.
Yesterday it was Istanbul and their newlly built Sinan Erdem Dome that were the favorites to host the event. As of now it is being reported as almost certain that Barcelona will be hosting the 2011 Final Four, just as in 2003 and 1998. Perfect chance for FC Barcelona to keep their title and do a seldom repeat (only teams that have done that in the Final Four era are Jugoplastica/Pop84 and Maccabi Tel Aviv).
