Will Clyburn and Nando De Colo starred for CSKA Moscow and Anadolu Efes are still searching for their first win as round five of the EuroLeague concluded.
CSKA Moscow narrowly overcame Zalgiris 94-91 in Russia as the hosts took the lead for good in the second quarter behind De Colo and Clyburn, who scored 25 and 26 points, respectively.
De Colo also dished out 10 assists in the win.
Unicaja Malaga added to Anadolu Efes’ poor start to the EuroLeague season as the Spanish side won 79-84.
Another team effort saw three Unicaja players score 13 points – Nemanja Nedovic, Ray McCallum and Giorgi Shermadini.
Barcelona got back to its winning ways and snapped a three-game skid with a resounding 73-51 victory over previously undefeated Olympiacos.
The win improved Barcelona’s record to 2-3, while Olympiacos maintains its share of first place at 4-1.
