More exciting signings for the Russian finalists as the club announced the simultaneous signings of Croatian international Kresimir Loncar and Alexei Savrasenko.

The signing of big guys was much needed after the departure of Timofey Mozgov to the NBA and the also rumoured departure of Robertas Javtokas from Russia.

The two players had agreed with Khimki long ago but the club waited for things to clear our with at least one of Mozgov and Javtokas before making any announcements. Khimki already signed another center too, Benjamin Eze from Montepaschi Siena.

Loncar spent last season with UNICS Kazan where he averaged 12.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 47 games while Savrasenko played for Dynamo Moscow averaging 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in a total of 41 games.
