Kevin Seraphin has joined the French revolution at Barcelona as his signing was made official, confirming the rumours from earlier in the week.

He becomes the third Frenchman to join Barcelona during the off-season after Thomas Heurtel and Adrien Moerman both signed.

Seraphin arrives from Indiana Pacers, where he averaged 4.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 49 games last season. He played in the EuroLeague briefly during the 2011-12 season, when he posted 8.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over seven games for Baskonia.

The 27-year-old began his career with Cholet in France. He played five seasons for Washington and one for New York in his seven seasons in the NBA. For his NBA career, Seraphin has averaged 5.9 points and 3.5 rebounds over 423 games.

Seraphin, who is expected to compete with the French national team at Eurobasket 2017 next month, won a silver medal at EuroBasket 2011 with Les Bleus.
