Lithuanian champions Lietuvos Rytas will play game seven of LKL finals tomorrow against Zalgiris but the club is already planning for next season. According to superbasket.gr, Australian guard-forward Brad Newley is already in talks with Rytas. 25-year-old sharp shooter spent the season in Turkey with Besiktas.
Brad Newley played in 23 games for Besiktas this season averaging 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. His scoring stats popped up in the play-offs as he was averaging 22.8 points during five games.
Newly international would become the second Aussie in Rytas after Aron Baynes, if he joins the team.
Lietuvos Rytas has already signed contracts with Zydrunas Kelys and Arvydas Siksnius.
