ImagePartizan was fined 15.000 euros by the Disciplinary Comitee of the Euroleague for events that took place in the Hala Pionir, before and during the game against Olympiacos last week.

According to article 5 of the disciplinary regulations of the Euroleague, the hosting team (in this case Partizan) is responsible for security within the hosting arena and its surroundings before, during and after the game. On that ground Partizan was fined as fans threw paper rolls, pens and coins on the floor before the game causing a delay on tip-off.

Objects kept falling on the court even after warnings while one of them hit Olympiacos player Yotam Halperin in the face when he was about to shoot free throws.

The fans are also accused of spitting and throwing objects towards the referees as they were withdrawing for halftime.

Partizan was also warned that if similar events were to take place again, the team would have to play a game infront of empty seats.

The fine is to be paid within the next 30 days.
