After months of speculation, Othello Hunter has officially joined Real Madrid on a two-year deal from EuroLeague rivals Olympiacos.

Hunter played in 22 EuroLeague games last season with Olympiacos, averaging 9.4 points and 6.0 rebounds. He was the seventh best rebounder overall in the Top 16 with a total 89.

Before his two seasons in Olympiacos, Hunter had made his debut in the top European stage with Montepaschi Siena of Italy.

The 30-year-old played college ball in Ohio State until 2008 and after that, he played with the Atlanta Hawks but soon moved to Greece to join Ilysiakos Athens. In 2010 he landed in Italy for the first time to play with Dinamo Sassari and later he also played in China, Ukraine and Spain for the first time with Valladolid, before joining Siena in 2013.
