The San Antonio Spurs are making a change on the sidelines of their G League affiliate, with Chris Kent set to take over as head coach of the Austin Spurs, according to HoopsHype.

Kent arrives in San Antonio’s organization after working at Florida State, where he served as an assistant coach and director of player development.

Before moving into the college ranks, Kent gained professional basketball experience in several different roles. He previously worked with the Rip City Remix, the Portland Trail Blazers’ G League affiliate.

Kent also spent time with the Chicago Bulls organization, serving as a video coordinator before continuing his coaching career elsewhere.
