The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract with free agent forward Ziaire Williams, according to ESPN.

Williams joins the Lakers after spending last season with the Brooklyn Nets, where he averaged 10.2 points in 22.9 minutes per game.

The former first-round pick now enters his sixth NBA season.

The signing gives Los Angeles additional depth on the wing as the front office continues reshaping the roster ahead of the new campaign.

According to ESPN, the Lakers remain actively interested in adding another forward and continue to pursue Jonathan Kuminga, who is viewed as a potential starter if a deal can be completed.
