Hall of Famer LeBron James is about to enter his 24th NBA season and is officially in free agency.

The 41-year-old superstar still has immense value to many NBA teams, leaving basketball fans awaiting his next destination.

Speaking to Dwayne Wade, he explained that James still has plenty of gas left in his tank despite turning 42 this upcoming season.

“I’m just here to appreciate what I’m witnessing…because we’ve never seen this before. It has to suck a little bit to get to this point in your career and still be really good….like I can still play — I can go play right now and still be able to play but I won’t be that good so it’s easy for me to decide to walk away. It’s hard to make that decision when you’re still really f*cking good….how do you walk away from being a GOAT when you’re still a GOAT?”

James averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game for the Los Angeles Lakers after playing 60 regular season games, shooting 51.5% from the field this previous season.

Although the four-time champion could still be an asset to any team, James’ longtime agent Rich Paul said that he was not chasing a championship for his next chapter.

“He’s not chasing a ring, but when you’ve worked this hard to position yourself the way you have and you can actually decide what you wanna do, who wouldn’t take advantage of that?”
