None of the top stars from the 2023 NBA Draft class are currently expected to sign Rose rule maximum contracts on their upcoming deals despite several breakout seasons around the league.

Paolo Banchero never secured the required All-NBA selection needed to qualify for the provision, while Chet Holmgren reportedly did not have the 30 percent escalator included in his contract structure.

Jalen Duren technically became eligible after making an All-NBA team, but he is not expected to command a full Rose rule max following his playoff struggles.

Meanwhile, Jalen Williams had the clause included in his contract, but his All-NBA selection came too late for him to qualify under league rules.

As a result, no major player from the 2023 draft class is projected to receive a contract starting at 30 percent of the salary cap.
