The future of Ricky Rubio still remains unknown as the player has several option to choose from. According to Marca, Real Madrid did not give up in the fight for the Spain's top point guard prospect. Antonio Maceiras, GM of Real's basketball section, told that the club is strongly interested in Rubio and is prepared to make another bid to Joventut.
Recently Barcelona made an offer worth €3 million which was rejected by Joventut. Real Madrid are prepared to make an even better offer which would convince the management of Joventut to sell Ricky Rubio.
Dan Fegan, Rubio's agent, is trying to find a way for his client to play in NBA already next season. He is still trying to convince Minnesota Timberwolves to buy out Rubio's contract and hopes that this mission can be accomplished.
