
Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo and Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic have been selected as the NBA’s Players of the Week for Week 21 after standout performances.
Adebayo put together an incredible scoring stretch, averaging 41.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.3 steals over the week while helping Miami go 2-1.
His biggest moment came in Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards, where he poured in 83 points – the second-highest total in a single game in NBA history.
This marks the fourth time in his career that Adebayo has earned Player of the Week honors.
Doncic also delivered across the board, averaging 37.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 11.0 assists as the Lakers posted a perfect 3-0 record.
He capped off the week with a game-winning shot in overtime against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
The award is the 17th Player of the Week recognition of Doncic’s career.
