Dylan Harper not comparing himself to other rookies because ‘we’re all in different situations’

Here’s San Antonio Spurs rookie Dylan Harper on his mentality when the season started/seeing fellow 2025 draft class members like Cooper Flagg (Dallas Mavericks), VJ Edgecombe (Philadelphia 76ers), and Kon Knueppel (Charlotte Hornets) get significant early minutes.

“Day by day was definitely my biggest mentality. I think, props to those guys. I mean, they came out right when the season started, (they) started running and going. So I mean, they were obviously doing a great job. But I mean, just looking at stuff like that and just looking around the league, I mean, obviously makes me and everyone else hungrier. But I think just not comparing myself to anyone and just kinda running my own race because I think we’re all in different situations, and I’m blessed to be in this one.”
