The Milwaukee Bucks survived the Miami Heat 128-117 for their fourth win in five games on Tuesday night.
Kevin Porter Jr. matched his season high with 32 points, and Bobby Portis and Ryan Rollins scored 21 apiece for the Bucks. Kyle Kuzma dropped 19, and Ousmane Dieng added 11.
On the other hand, Norman Powell led the Heat with 26 points, Bam Adebayo had 18 points and nine rebounds, and Andrew Wiggins had 16 points for the Heat, who had their three-game winning streak halted.
Tyler Herro and Kel’el Ware each scored 14 points, Pelle Larsson 10, and Davion Mitchell with eight points and eight assists after missing a game due to illness.
The Bucks led 63-58 at the half before the teams traded leads in the third, and the Heat led 93-89 heading into the final period.
Ware hit a three-pointer early in the fourth that gave them a nine-point lead, its largest to that point, but the Bucks battled back quickly to cut the deficit to 102-100 by a deep three from Porits, followed by Dieng to move ahead 103-102.
The exchange of scores continued through the quarter with the Bucks taking a 118-116 lead when Porter sank a three-pointer from the corner.
Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo missed his 12th consecutive game since straining his right calf on Jan. 23. The Bucks are 15-15 with Antetokounmpo and 10-16 without him this season.
For the Heat, Nikola Jovic (back) missed his second straight game for the Heat. He traveled with the team to Milwaukee, but returned to Miami on Tuesday for treatment.
Miami will visit the 76ers on Thursday, while the Bucks host the Cavaliers.
