Khris Middleton delivered his strongest scoring performance of the season for the Mavericks on Thursday night, finishing with 25 points on an efficient 11-of-15 shooting while also contributing seven rebounds and seven assists in a narrow five-point win over the Pacers.

The veteran forward played a key all-around role, helping stabilize the offense and create opportunities for teammates throughout the game.

Following the victory, head coach Jason Kidd praised Middleton’s impact and versatility, highlighting how his size and skill set make him a difficult matchup for defenders.

“A lot of times, you don’t understand how tall he is so he can create space with his height, and midrange game,” Kidd said, per Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News.

“He can always get his shot off. His ability to playmate, being able to run an offense with him. We got guys layups and wide open shots. He was really good tonight.”

Middleton’s performance came at an important time for Dallas, as he has taken on a larger offensive responsibility with Cooper Flagg sidelined.

The experienced wing has responded well to the increased role, continuing momentum from Friday’s game against Minnesota, where he scored 18 points despite the team’s loss to the Timberwolves.
