Los Angeles Lakers announced Friday that Luka Doncic will not play in Saturday night’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors due to a left hamstring strain.

Doncic underwent an MRI after sustaining the injury during Thursday’s victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

While he will sit out the upcoming game, the Lakers are said to be encouraged that the issue is not considered serious.

Los Angeles is set to remain at home following the Warriors game, with three more home contests scheduled before the All-Star Game next weekend, potentially giving Doncic additional time to recover.
