The Boston Celtics started with a 23-point first-half lead before coasting to a 119-104 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.
Jaylen Brown dropped 30 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, Sam Hauser added 17 points with five three-pointers, and Neemias Queta had 17 points and nine rebounds.
The Celtics bounced back from Monday night’s one-point loss at the Detroit Pistons.
On the other hand, Pacers’ Pascal Siakam had 32 points and 10 rebounds, and Jarace Walker finished with 19 points off the bench.
Indiana had won four of seven games since losing 13 in a row in December and January.
Hauser sank his first three attempts from three-point range, two of them in the game’s first 68 seconds.
Boston led 57-34 with 3:22 left in the second quarter, but the Pacers cut the deficit to nine in the third before Anfernee Simons dropped a three-pointer.
The Pacers never got back within single digits.
Both teams will play on Friday evening: the Celtics visit Brooklyn, while Indiana visits Oklahoma City.
