The Phoenix Suns defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 116-110 with Jalen Green’s return to the lineup, winning their third straight game and for the 12th time in 16 games on Tuesday night.

Devin Booker dropped 27 points, Green added 12 points, while Grayson Allen and Jordan Good scored 16 points each for the Suns

Green played in just his third game of the season, which was his first since November 8 because of a right hamstring injury.

The former Rockets came off the bench to score seven points in nine minutes of the first half, and went on to shoot 4 for 11 from the field, including 2 for 4 from distance with three assists and two boards in 20 minutes.

On the other hand, rookie VJ Edgecombe contributed 25 points, Kelly Oubre Jr. added 21, and Tyrese Maxey with 20 points. Andre Drummond finished with 15 rebounds and eight points for the Sixers.

Philadelphia lost for the fourth time in six games.

The 76ers were without Joel Embiid due to right ankle injury management and Paul George due to left knee management.

Despite being shorthanded, they opened the second half with a 13-2 run to take a 66-59 lead, but the Suns tied it at 68 and built a 97-84 lead by the end of the third period.

The Suns will complete a six-game trip against the Hawks on Friday, while the Sixers will host the Rockets on Thursday.
