Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland is expected to be sidelined for at least 7 to 10 days after suffering a sprain to his right big toe.

The injury occurred during Cleveland’s win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, and Garland was subsequently ruled out of Friday’s rematch, which the Cavaliers also won.

The setback is unrelated to the toe issue that required surgery during the offseason, as this injury affects Garland’s opposite foot.

However, it still adds another interruption to his season, which was already delayed when the prior surgery forced him to miss the first two weeks of the regular schedule.
