Valencia veteran Rafa Martinez has signed a one-year extension, the club announced.
This marks nine seasons at Valencia for Martinez and he will become the third player to ever reach that record in the history of the club.
Victor Luego holds the ultimate record with 15 seasons (1992 to 2007), followed by Nacho Rodilla (1994 to 2003).
Valencia do have the option to extend the agreement for one more year.
