ImageAs TalkBasket reported some days ago, Panathinaikos was targeting one of the hottest Greek prospects, Giorgos Bogris, and today they managed to sign him.

Bogris signed a 4 years contract and became the third transfer of Panathinaikos during in the summer transfer market after two other youngsters, Calathes and Tepic.

Panathinaikos will probably loan him back to his x-club Ilysiakos, who are newly-promoted to the Greek top division, so he gets games on his feet and most important of all develop his talent further before being ready for Panathinaikos.

The transfer could not come in a better moment for Bogris as he is currently playing for Greece U20 National Team in U20 European Championship and is averaging 15 ppg, 6.5 rpg in 30 minutes per game.
