Boston Celtics’ recent run has been about more than wins and losses, according to head coach Joe Mazzulla.

As Chris Mannix explains, Mazzulla believes the last several weeks have helped the Celtics gain clarity about who they are and what sets them apartfrom other teams.

“We’ve developed our identity over the last month, month and a half,” the coach said, adding that the challenge now is bringing that same version of themselves every single night.

What was initially viewed as a transitional season is starting to look very different from the inside. Mannix notes that the group has embraced an underdog mindset, turning doubt into fuel.

That attitude was on full display against the LA Clippers, when Derrick White poured in 29 points and spoke openly about the team’s collective edge.

“I think we’re just hungry,” Derrick White said, explaining that skepticism from the outside has bonded the roster.

White also pointed to the makeup of the team as a driving force, mentioning players who were previously waived or overlooked and are now embracing a real opportunity to prove themselves.

With so many players carrying that motivation, he described the current stretch as both validating and enjoyable, saying the chance to compete and grow together has made this run especially fun.
